New Core Kit!

So a few weeks ago I got my very first Project Lige Core Kit "Kiwi" and I put another one on layby for my end of school term reward. And today I got it. It is the Honey Core Kit. I love it.

When I got Kiwi I had troubles mixing and matching the cards because I was mainly using the Kaiser Craft cards which are way easier to match. So today when I had a go at mixing and matching the Honey it is was so much easier then the Kiwi kit. I love the Honey kit way more then the Kiwi kit.

Wow. Now I have over 1200 cards and that isn't plus my Kaiser Craft cards. Wow

Meeting Becky Higgins

Yesterday 29 of march I had the oputunity to meet the one and only Becky Higgins at Capalaba Spotlight. It was a very special moment that I will never forget. Ok so I should explain who Becky Higgins is. Becky Higgins is the designer of Project Life. Here is Becky's explanation of Project Life. "Project Life is a quick and easy way to scrapbook. No techniques, no glueing, no stressing over design. It's about simplifying the process of mermory keeping to save you time and hassle. The pieces of the core kits are made to work together for convenience. As you add your photos, stories, and memorabilia, you'll grow more keenly aware of life's blessings."

She had a quick look through my album and she wished that she could have looked at all of my pages. Then she asked is I wanted any thing signed so she signed my album and a autograph card that she had so I could put it in my album. Then I had a photo with her.

Here are a few pics of yesterday.

Me and Becky.

My album update.

Wow haven't been on very much. My goal this year was to do more blog post but I don't think that happening as much as I wanted it to.

So since I was last on I have come up to date with my album. (I just can't wait to see the it finished at the end of the year). I have done week 8 up to week 11.
Here are some pics.

Week 8.

This weeks challenge was to add a flap to a flap.

Week 9

Week 9's challenge was to do a college with recycled something. I used a old postcard, sewing patten paper and things out of the local paper.

Week 10

This weeks challenge was to write what makes you you. So I wrote a list of thing that I like to do basically.

Week 11- this week I went on camp so it's just my camp photos.
For my year 8 camp we went to Alexandra Headlands, Sunshine Coast QLD.

This weeks challenge was to add a bird of any sort. It could have been a drawing, painting, collage, photo but I used a chip board bird.

So there is my update on my album.

Week 1 was a door. So I drew a door and water coloured it.

My title page for my album.

Week 7 was to repeat a shape so I chose squares.
