Studio Fourteen 40 - GUEST DESIGNER - #5 - 'Hello Love'

Hey scrappers, finally going to get back in the swing of things as school is finally back for the new year and that I now have my own laptop for school so I will be able to do (hopefully) a lot more blogging and it will make it easier.

But today I am here to share my recent blog post over at Studio Fourteen 40. Using some of their beautiful exclusive foiled flairs from their 'Shine On' collection.

Have a creative weekend.

Hello beautiful people, Lydia here back to share a layout I did the other day using the beautiful “Hello Love” collection by Crate Paper and some of the exclusive Shine On foiled flairs from the Studio Fourteen 40 shop.

Here is the layout.

I really love how this layout turned out.

Now lets talk about the beautiful shiny “Shine On” foiled flairs that you can find in the Studio1440 shop. Oh My are they gorgeous and they work perfectly with the “Hello Love” collection.

I love how the “Hello Love” collection has a mix of both gold glitter and foil which makes it so perfect to coordinate these foiled flairs to give your layout extra shine.

Ok here is a little tip, I know Sandra wanted to know how I adhered two flairs on top of each other. Well easy peasy, add some foams dots on one flair and on another flair where it will be over hanging the other flairs. This will give your page a little big of bulk.

So I hope you scrappy Studio 1440 fans have a lovely day and I will be back soon with another layout.

12x12 Layout - "14 Years"

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your week so far.
So I haven't posted in just over two weeks as I have been down in Sydney having a fantastic holiday and home chilling sorting out school books (we go back to school next week!!!).

So today am sharing a layout I did a far few weeks ago, using Maggie Holmes "Shine" collection.
I really love how this layout turned out.

This layout was totally inspired by one of  Jessy Christopher layouts.

Used a cute little tag to add some journaling behind my photo.

Love these big mist able numbers from one of Heidi Swapp's collections.

This layout did consist of a lot of double sided taping and sewing, but I love how much texture the sewing gives the layout.

So that's just a quick blog post of the layout.
I hope you have a great week.

Studio Fourteen 40 - GUEST DESIGNER - #4 - December Daily: Embellishing

Hey friends, today I am over on the Studio Fourteen 40 blog sharing some of my 'December Daily' pages using some of the funky flairs and bits and pieces from their shop.

Hope you enjoy...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, Hi Studio 1440 blog readers, so excited to finally be back after a very long term 4 at school, now its Holidays!!! Yay more time to create. So today I am here sharing a few of my pages in my very full December Daily album, using some of the Studio 1440 goodie that are in the shop.

Here is just a quick photo of my front page in my album.

So one of my front pages is a 4x 2×2 square pocket which I have filled with sequins and wood veneer and sewed it closed. I placed a cute little yellow chipboard star in the middle and glued on of the Studio 1440 Use Your Words.

I also added another tiny word on the other side of the page protector as well.

Throughout my album I have a few places where I didn’t have at least 2 photos so I have made cute little 4×4 filler cards. This is using a Studio 1440 flair ‘My Favourite Memories’ from the Thriftshop Collection.

Love how this foil flair from the Shine On Collection fitted perfectly into the 2×2 pockets with my journaling.

This is a very fun idea if you want to jazz up some of your wood veneers, like I have used a camera wood veneer and used some Studio 1440 Use Your Words to look like it is coming out of the polaroid camera.

Last but not least just a quick and simple 2×2 pocket using a Studio 1440 Use Your Words – word and some enamel dots from my stash.

So that my Studio 1440 friends is some of my embellishing in my December Daily using some goodies that you can find in the shop.
I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Sending love from Sunny Queensland.

FOCUS... on 2016

Hi everyone, as 2015's doors have closed it is time to FOCUS on the new chapter of 2016.
One of my goal for 2015 was to do a lots more blogging, I have to say I did, but not as much as I would have hoped.

This year is a new year so I plan on FOCUSing a lot more time into my blog.

2015 brought a lot of new opportunities to my creative side by being on my very first Design Teams. This year I will continue to find Design Team calls to apply for to share my creations with everyone,. I will also be staying on the Studio Fourteen 40 Team as a designer for their very funky flairs and embellishments.

This year I have decided to do Ali Edwards 'One Little Word' and the word I have chosen is 'FOCUS'.  I plan on using my word in everyday life and in my creations.

This year I am documenting my year yet again with Becky Higgins ' Project Life' but instead of weekly I will be doing monthly.

I do hope to introduce more than just my creative side on there with some of my photography, other documentation ideas and more.

I truly look forward to what 2016 will bring to my blog.

Youtube Videos

WOW!! That's all I can say. I haven't blogged for quite a few months, but it is Christmas school holidays now here in sunny Queensland, Australia so I have sixe whole weeks to do lots (hopefully) of blog posts.

Today I am sharing two YouTube videos I have done in the past few weeks, and hopefully I will be doing some more soon.

So my first video is a walk through of my December Daily I am doing this year. I will be defiantly be doing another video of this when I get my photos (which should be printing right now at my local photo lab).

And the second video is of a haul I got at Spotlight last week. This was my very first haul video and hopefully when I do get more goodies I can do more videos like this.

So I hope you enjoyed watching these and I will be very soon with either more videos or layout shares.

Have a great day.

Project Life Share - Weeks 19, 21 & 23

Hello beautiful people, today I am here to finally share some Project Life layouts. It will be a little long blog post. Since I haven't done this layout share in a while I will be skipping a few weekly layouts as I have so many to share.

Today I will be sharing 3 layouts of Weeks 19, 21 and 23.

Week 19 -
So for this week of Project Life I based my cards around Amy Tangerine's "Rise and Shine" collection. I used just the 6x6 paper pad which I picked up at Spotlight here in Australia.

Left Side -

Right Side -

So I am have been the only one who kept their sticker from the desk during NAPLAN, but I wanted to put it in my album.

I made all these cards in the layout using the paper pad and some American Crafts white textured cardstock. I also added a few bits and pieces of embellishments, including some wood veneer, sequin trim and some tiny words.

And my title card is a piece of paper, some paper cut a parts, thickers and a cut a part calendar.

And just another title card for show time.

Week 21 -
This weeks layout is using the "Love Notes" Pocket page card kit. I love the beautiful water colour cards and love how this layout turned out.

This card kit include die cut cards: example, the green stripes. I just layered another 3x4 card under the die cut card because I didn't want it to be see through.

Just a different way to add a title. Add it straight onto the photo.

Week 23 -
And finally the last layout which is just a single page layout because I didn't do much this week. I used the beautiful Maggie Holmes,  Project Life core kit "Open Book".

Love, love how this photo turned out with some embellishments I had left over from the "Open Book "  collection.

Again I have just added some stickers right to the photo to add a title.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog post. I would love you to leave some love down in the comments, let me know what you liked in this post and what you would like to see here on my blog.

Have a great day/night.
