"The Young Scrappers" Facebook Group - March Challenge

Hey, Hey everyone. OMG it's been a month since I last posted a blog post.

Anyhow, I am here now to share one of the few layouts I have done in the past few weeks as I have been swamped in school assignments.

This layout I did is to go with a challenge over on "The Young Scrappers" Facebook Group that myself and 2 other young scrappers from around the world are admin on, for young scrappers born between 1990 and 2002 to join, share and connect with other scrappers who are interested in the same hobby.

So this months/fortnightly challenge mood board included pastels.

 

And here is my layout.

 

 

 

 I LOVE how my layout turned out with all the different sized triangles.

Loving the Crate Paper "Hello Love" thickers.

Again using my favourite Studio Fourteen Forty wood veneer.

Studio Fourteen 40 - GUEST DESIGNER - #7 - “Happy Valentine’s Day”

Hey everyone, Lydia here sending you all a very loved Happy Valentine’s Day. I hope you have a great day with loved ones.

Anyhow, lets have a look at this quick and easy card I made using one of the lip Tin Button Flair from brand new collection “Be Mine”. This collection will be released on Valentine’s Day!

 

I used the very Valentine themed Crate Paper “Hello Love” collection. Ain’t those lips perfect for a Valentine’s Day card?

 

 

I have also used a sprinkling of the Glitz – Disco Glitz gems around the Flair.

 

 Can I say I am in love with these wood veneer “Chevrons“.

 

 

So there is my cute little Valentines card.

The Studio Chalenges Design Team!!!

Good morning everyone, on this beautiful Monday morning.
So today I have a little announcement that I have kept for about 2 weeks, and I am so, so excited to announce that I am joining The Studio Challenges Design Team!!!

My first challenge will be over on their blog next Sunday, (the 14th of Feb). I will share my layout and the challenge right here on my blog the next day (next Monday the 15th).

Studio Fourteen 40 - GUEST DESIGNER - #6 - ‘2016 Project Life Album – Title Page’

Hello my friends, I am here to share my latest layout that has been posted over on the Studio Fourteen 40 blog.

Hi everyone, Lydia here again to share my title page for my 2016 Project Life album. I love how this layout turned and I love looking at as I open my album.

Here is the title page:

 

 

My title page is on a piece of vellum and then stuck on a piece of acetate to give it more support.

I printed one of the January digitals from Ali Edwards One Little Word class and added my 2016 OLW ‘Focus’ so it was on the front page.

 

I than used some Studio Calico big wood veneer numbers for the year and added lots of embellishments from the Studio Fourteen 40 shop.

I used a ‘Hello’ tin button flair, from the gorgeous “confetti” collection. I’ve also used some of the “Arrowhead”  wood veneers and some of my favourite “Disco” Gems.

 

 

So that is my title page in my 2016 Project Life album and I love how it turned out.

Studio Fourteen 40 - GUEST DESIGNER - #5 - 'Hello Love'

Hey scrappers, finally going to get back in the swing of things as school is finally back for the new year and that I now have my own laptop for school so I will be able to do (hopefully) a lot more blogging and it will make it easier.

But today I am here to share my recent blog post over at Studio Fourteen 40. Using some of their beautiful exclusive foiled flairs from their 'Shine On' collection.

Hello beautiful people, Lydia here back to share a layout I did the other day using the beautiful “Hello Love” collection by Crate Paper and some of the exclusive Shine On foiled flairs from the Studio Fourteen 40 shop.

Here is the layout.

 

I really love how this layout turned out.

Now lets talk about the beautiful shiny “Shine On” foiled flairs that you can find in the Studio1440 shop. Oh My are they gorgeous and they work perfectly with the “Hello Love” collection.

 

I love how the “Hello Love” collection has a mix of both gold glitter and foil which makes it so perfect to coordinate these foiled flairs to give your layout extra shine.

 

 

Ok here is a little tip, I know Sandra wanted to know how I adhered two flairs on top of each other. Well easy peasy, add some foams dots on one flair and on another flair where it will be over hanging the other flairs. This will give your page a little big of bulk.

12x12 Layout - "14 Years"

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your week so far.
So I haven't posted in just over two weeks as I have been down in Sydney having a fantastic holiday and home chilling sorting out school books (we go back to school next week!!!).

So today am sharing a layout I did a far few weeks ago, using Maggie Holmes "Shine" collection.
I really love how this layout turned out.

 

This layout was totally inspired by one of  Jessy Christopher layouts.

 

Used a cute little tag to add some journaling behind my photo.

 

Love these big mist able numbers from one of Heidi Swapp's collections.

This layout did consist of a lot of double sided taping and sewing, but I love how much texture the sewing gives the layout.


So that's just a quick blog post of the layout.
