Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia

Good morning my beautiful's, I am back today to share my layouts so far from being on the Scrapooking Top 50 Austraia's Design Team.

So how I became a member of this very talented team was I received a Facebook message from the lovely Vicki Burdon asking me if I would be interested in being on the team to give inspiration for their monthly challeges. And I said Yes!

So my first challenge layout was needed within the same week and was the April challenge.

The first challenge was a sketch and this is my layout.

May's challenge was a colour palette and here was the layout I created. I changed it up and created a Project Life layout.

And my most recent layout being for the June moodbaord challenge.

So they are my layouts so far for Scrapooking Top 50 Australia. Be sure so head over to their blog HERE to get some inspiration from many of the DT memebers and as well as keep a eye out for the July challenge.

Hope you liked these layout and I will look forward to hopefully seeing some of my readers entering future Scrapooking Top 50 Australia challenges.

Have a lovely day.

I am back!! - Exciting News......

Hello friends, I can't believe it's been nearly two months since I have last blogged. I am finally back after seeing Renae from HeyNaeDaily post that she was back blogging and that inspired me to update and share all my creations I have done.

I have had many announcements including joining two new Design Teams which I will tell you about soon. The past two months has been crazy with school so I haven't had much time to create other then squizzing in time to meet my Design Team assignments.

So as I mentioned before I have joined two new design teams. These include Helmar and Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia. I am so excited to be apart of these teams and to bring lots of creations.

For those of you who don't know, Helmar is a well world known adhesive company producing glues, spray adhesives and lots more. I have already shared a few blog posts which I will do another blog post for this week sharing my Hemalr creations.

And Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia is a monthly challenge site. There are many talented Australian scrapbookers on this team that share their layout for each challenge to give inspiration. I will also do another blog post of the layouts I have created for them so far.

My goal is to now keep up to date with my blog with sharing my Design Team projects and lots more. Over the next one an a half weeks while on school holidays I will be updating you al on the DT projects I have done that I haven't shared yet.

I hope you are looking forward to seeing my blog updated regally because I am!

The Scrap Gals - Podcast

Hello my scrappy friends, can you believe it's been a month since I posted over here on my blog?

Anyhow, I am back and ready to share lots of new and exciting things including new Design Teams which I am on if you haven't seen them on my Facebook page or Instagram (I'll schedule them in for this week), layouts that I haven't shared yet over here for my DT's and a few other things.

But today I'm here to share that I was asked by the beautiful Tracey Claiborne and Tiffany Lowder to be apart of an episode for the Scrap Gals Podcast featuring young scrappers.  I was beyond excited but at the same time nervous.

So on the last day of school holiday on Sunday the 10th of April, I woke up early at like 6:00am to jump on Skype with both Tracey and Tiffany but also another guest Megan Claborn.  We spent a god nearly 1 and a 1/2 hours chatting about being young scrappers and tips on getting us newer generation out there in the industry.

So guess what? The show is now LIVE!!
Again I was excited and nervous to hear it back.

I have absolutely loved reading all comments about the show from listeners and on my post on Instagram.

So, make sure you go listen to the podcast now and leave a comment on this blog post letting me know what you thought of it.

Click HERE to listen to the podcast.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy listening to the Scrap Gals Podcast.

12x12 Layout - "Beautiful"

Morning beautiful creatives, How your morning going.

I am currently working through my list of blog duties and things I need to do for my creative side, but I am here this morning to share another 12x12 traditional layout using the Maggie Holmes "Bloom" collection again. I LOVE this collection.

Here is the layout.

I did something different with is layout and decided to do a little bit of sewing and I love the texture the sewing gave the layout.

The Studio 1440 "Use Your Words" were the perfect colour for this collection and I love how thy worked on this layout.

This wood veneer "Beautiful" is fro one of our cheap shops here in Australia and I painted it with Heidi Swapp Gold "Colour Shine".

And lastly I punched a few little hearts and added them like confetti and sewn thought the middle of the bigger hearts.

Hope you enjoyed this layout. I am now off to take photo of some Project Life layouts, so be sure to keep your eyes out for them.

12x12 Layout - "Lainey Bear"

Hello everyone.

I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend. I have been creating all weekend as I am on school holidays and I'm loving all my spare time creating.

So this layout I have literary just finished it today and I love how it turned out. I used the beautiful Maggie Holmes "Bloom" collection with a few extra embellishments that aren't in the collection.

This has to be one of my favourite layouts I have done with is collection.
Totally loving the fringed paper lately.

I also loving punching ity pity hearts.

Every layout I love to mount my photos, to make them pop on the layout.

Now this is my favourite part of the layout. Do you have tiny words but they don't say what you want? Well make sure go and download the app "Hanx" onto your Apple device because it is your own typewriter. I made these tiny words and they are perfect because I got to choose what  wanted on them. I just printed them on normal printer painter and then glued onto my layout but you could also print them on a big sticker sheet.

So I hope you loved this layout and I will be back later this week with loads more layouts to share.

Have a great week.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good morning beautiful people. Lydia here finally after a huge term 1 at school, and finally I am able to create after many weeks of being full of assignments and exams as it's HOLIDAYS!, can you tell I'm excited?
But today I am sharing one of my recent Project Life layouts.

I am so in love with Maggie Holmes "Bloom" collection.

For this layout I had two different title cards, one with the week number and one with Happy Bday on it, as it was one of my best friends birthday. I used one of the water coloured "Lovely" tin flair with the little camera, which I LOVE and also one of the beautiful "Shine On" gold foiled Tin Flair.

As on nearly every layout I share I used the "Arrowheads" wood veneers and "Chevon" wood veneer.

I also used a pop of yellow using some of the "Everyday" Use Your Words.

So, I hope you all enjoyed this layout. Also sending a huge Happy Easter to you all and your families.
Have a great long weekend.
