Helmar Design Team - Product Spotlight of Helmar 450 Quick-Dry Adhesive

Hello everyone, Lydia back to share a Product Spotlight on one of my all time favourite, the Helmar 450 Quick-Dry Adhesive. The project I have created to share today is a little card in inspiration of Summer as here in Australia at the moment it is a little chilly as we are in Winter.

The things that I used for this project are:
  • Helmar 450 Quick-Dry Adhesive
  • Blank white card
  • Patterned Paper
  • Paper doily
  • Alpha bet stickers
  • Embellishments

First things first, I picked out a Heidi Swapp patterned piece of paper and adhered it to my blank card.

Next I adhered a white paper doily to give the card a delicate feel.

I than picked out some embellishments that I knew I wanted to make a cluster with. The embellishments I used was a flair, paper clip, ribbon and some paper flowers. These were all adhered with my trusty Helmar 450 Quick-Dry Adhesive.

The Scrappery CT - 'happy sweet 16th birthday'

Hello Scrappery peeps, Lydia back to finally share another project using the 'Belle' kits. The past few weeks has been crazy with end of semester exams and then a school camp to start the school holidays, and in that process I lost my creative mojo and have been stuck in the ditch trying to get back out of it. But I am back and ready to get the paper and glue back out and to create.

So here is a project a I have been meaning to do a blog post for a few weeks and it is a sweet 16th card I made for one of my friends. I love how this card turned out wit the beautiful florals in the 'Belle' kits.

I did do a little bit of fussy cutting of the florals but it was worth it because they are gorgeous. I did use doily from my stash as it did need something delicate in the background.

I used the fabric Thickers and I also used one of the Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer words that says 'sweet'. I love the addition of the wood veneer and different font within the alpha's.

And of course to finished the card I added some of the beautiful glittery Cocoa Vanilla Studio enamel dots.

So I hope you like this card and I will sure be back very soon to share another project.
I am glad I am back and can't wait to do another blog post.

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead.

The Scrappery CT - 'beautiful heart'

Hello, hello Scrappery friends. Lydia back to share another layout using the 'Belle' kits. So I have been a little MIA lately due to the amount of school assignments but I am nearly over that hurdle of mid term assessment so I will have some time to scrap as I haven't scrapbooked in over 2-3 weeks.

I do hope you all have a lovely scrapping time last weekend on Inter National Scrapbooking Day/Weekend. And I hope that this weekend all of those precious mums are having a lovely Mothers Day today.

Here is my layout this week using the 'Belle' kits.

Have I mentioned how much I love these kits? These colours just sing to me. I love how this layout features the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio "Oh My Heart" chipboard frames. I also love all the dimension on this layout too.

For the title I used one of the Cocoa Vanilla Studio chipboard stickers and a wood veneer.

And as well as the feature of all the frames I added a few embellishment clutters using the ephemera pack. And of course to finish the clusters I used some of the gorgeous glittery Cocoa Vanilla Studio enamel dots.

I also added my photo behind the beautiful floral frame to make it stand out on the page. I also backed it with one of the gorgeous and delicate doilies. I did add some ephemera around the photo too with some more enamel dots.

I hope you all like this layout and I hop on this Mothers Day you are able to have some scrapping time.

Have a lovely day.

The Scrappery CT - 'happy day'

Good morning lovely people, Lydia back and  I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend an getting some creative time in there somewhere. I am not quite sure if I will get creative as I have a pile of school assignments to get done. So I am back to share my first layout using the new "Belle" kits. I am so excited about these kits as they are full of the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Studio 'Wild At Heart' collection.

Here is my fist layout using the new "Belle" kits.

I did a centre design going down the page. So I knew I would have to add a little cluster somewhere off to the side. So at the top left corner I added some of the ephemera arrows, a bitty bloom and of course some enamel dots.

I did add some stamping but unfortunately you are unable to see it in these photos. I used the gorgeous mini KaiserCraft floral stamp that come in the TCK. So behind my photo I added some layers of the patterned paper and also some of the speciality vellum too.

As for embellishments I used the beautiful floral pieces from the ephemera pack and also added some Circut die cutter leaves from my stash from cardstock.

And to the right side of the photo I also a few other embellishments. I used a few more bitty blooms, a cardstock ephemera arrow and one of the fun rubber embellishments. And of course to finish some more enamel dots.

For the title I used one of the Cocoa Vanilla Studio wood veneer words and some of the Thickers that came in the kits. I also finished the page with some splatters using the KaiserCraft 'Peach' mist that came in the TCK.

So I hope you like this layout and grab some inspiration to create some layouts using your 'Belle' kits.
Have a great day.

The Scrappery CT - "Me + You = Us"

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you are all having a lovely day with family or if you are reading this after hope you had a great day filled with family fun. So far we are just relaxing at home today and enjoying some family time.

Although I would have liked to have had a Easter inspired layout/project to share I do have a layout which I love and is a lot simpler then what I normally do.  I love, love, love how this turned out and I really like how it is cute and soft but without a whole lot of embellishments.

I knew when I first got the 'Jade' kits I wanted to use the gorgeous gold glitter die cut as a title on one of my projects but I just didn't know how I  would us it a I am normally a Thickers girl for a title. After watching a few of HeyNaeDaily's videos on YouTube I was inspired by her layouts which have the photo in the center. So after added al my layers behind my photo I added the die cut underneath and made a bow out of one of the papers in the kit and added that too.

Behind my photo I added one f the beautiful dedicate doilies which come in the kits (Which you are unable to see), I also added same of the papers from the kits also. Within all the layers I added some white tulle to add a another element to make the layout soft and delicate.

I also got some of my trusty American Crafts cardstock from my stash nd got the Cricut machine out of the box to cut some die cut eaves which I added to both sides of the photo. I also added a gold paper clip which was in one of the past kits.

And last but not least I added some enamel dot from my stash an added a few splatters of the grey KaiserCraft spray which in The Colour Kit.

I hope you all have/had a wonderful Easter break and I will see you next week with another project.

The Scrappery CT - Mini Boxes

Good morning friends, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I sure am as school holidays is already half over but I have had loads of time to create.
When I first had the idea for todays project I thought this would be perfect for an Easter project on the blog, but once I started making it didn't turn out Easter at all. But you could always use it as an Easter idea.

Here is this weeks project which I loved to make as I don't normally do anything else other then my normal 12x12 layouts, cards and Project Life. These cute little noodle  boxes I made using a template I had, I am sure you could find a template on Pinterest ect.

I love how these turned out. All they used was a 6x6 size piece of patterned paper, adhesive and some embellishments. As I mentioned before I really wanted to make these for Easter but they didn't really turn out that way but I am sure you can see how s=cute they would be for Easter filled for some chocolate Easter eggs.

I did add some embellishments from past kits but used the papers and KaiserCraft gems. All these needed were a few small embellishments as these boxes are quite small.

And to finish them off I added a piece of bakers twine from my stash which I think made them cute. I did use those KaiserCraft bloom which I am loving at the moment.

And this navy twined worked perfectly for one of the three boxes I made.

Well I hope you all like this idea and make some of your own for Easter perhaps. I sure did have a lot of fun making them as they are really easy.

Have a great week ahead.

The Scrappery CT - "16th"

Good morning beautiful people. Well I am finally back with another blog post. It has been a cray few days being with the interruption of Ex Tropical Cyclone Debbie who made her may down into south-east Queensland where I live which made us stuck at home for a good two days due to major flooding after nearly 250mm of rain. But  am back and on school holidays which mean only one thing, more scrapping time!!!

So since it is nearly time for new kit releases I am starting to get a little low on my current kit so I knew it was time to create a card. This year is a big year for my group of friends are it is the year we all turn 16. I thought it would be a good idea to start making a few birthdays for my friends.

As I have mentioned before I don't normally use chunky embellishments so I wouldn't normally use the KaiserCraft flowers but I am loving them which meant I had to use some on this card. And it wouldn't be complete without some of the KaiserCraft pearls.

And instead of just putting Happy Birthday on the front I just used the KaiserCraft gold numbers and teal alphas for 16th.

All the papers I used are from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio Hello Lovely collection which is included in the current kits. I did also use a tag from the Cocoa Vanilla cut apart sheet which is in the PLK kit.

So I hope you all liked this card I made and hopefully next weekend I will have the new kits ready  to get scrapping with and let me tell you the new release kits are stoning and you will love them.
Have a lovely week.
