Project Life Layout Share Friday - #2 - Week 16, 17 & 18

Hello my lovely readers. I am so, so, so late with my Friday Project Life share, But I am here to share now 3 threes weeks of Project Life.

       

As I sit here typing this post inside in the warmth of the fire here in South - East Queensland it is a total temperature of 18 degrees (64 Fahrenheit) out side with a wind chill of about 10 degrees. I also have a total of 2 pairs of socks on and 4 layers of jumpers lol. In other words..... I am freezing. So what's better then staying inside in the warmth doing blog posts and scrapping my heart out with my new scrappy goodies from Papertrenz of Crate Paper 'Craft Market'.

Ok better get on with this post.
Here are the weeks I am sharing.

Week 16 -
This layout was inspired by the ANZAC flag in the bottom right layout, as this was ANZAC week.

I love this little poppy I made out of a small paper doily.

Week 17 -
I really love how this layout came along and it actually didn't take that long to do. I do have a Process Video on my YouTube Channel.

As I shared above of the poppy made out of a paper doily I did the same here but added a flair in the centre instead of a paper circle.

Week 18 -
I have lately been having some of my layouts turned out not my favourite, but that is ok as I am not going to change them, as that is just how they turned out and it shows my style does doe's every so often. And this is one of those layouts that have come out that isn't my favourite.

Jot Kids Challenge

Hello hello everyone.
Today I am not going to share my usual Technique Thursday, but I am here to share a layout I did using the awesome creative Jot Kids Mood Board for these school holidays.

So here is my layout. I really love how it turned out with the bright colours from the lego colours.

For the Lego part, I used Lego as a stamp. I just used paint and stamped it right onto my page as I was going for a mixed media type of feel with the Packaging Technique, Texture paste and the stamping.

 

And finally a close up on the layers.

 

 

This was my first time trying out the Jot Magazine Mood Board challenges and i can not wait to get into the next monthly mood board.

12x12 Layout Share Monday - #1 - "InstaLove", "Port Macquarie", "BestEver", "RARS Awards"

Morning all. I hope you are having a beautiful day to start off the week.
I am so, so sorry I didn't share my Sunday Photo Technique yesterday but hopefully I get it on the blog before this post.

So today I am going to share some 12x12 Layouts. I have a pile of 12 layouts that have been building up the past month to photograph and share here on my blog.

Layout #1 - "InstaLove'
This layout is definitely one of my top favourites. I really love how it came together, even though it took me 2-3 days to complete because I really had no idea how I was going to embellish it.

The embellishments were the hardest part for me in the layout. So I went with some flowers.

This layout I did a few layers behind the photo and I did the Packaging Stain Technique for the background.

Layout #2 - "Port Macquarie"
This layout I really wanted to use all four photos as they were the photos left from our holiday earlier in the year. Surprisingly I like how it turned out.

This layout I did just after I colour coded my embellishments, so I used just blue and turquoise colours.

Layout #3 - "Best Ever"
I really, really, really love how this layout turned out. I love how simple it is and I love the colours. This layout is also different to most of my others, as I didn't use just plain white cardstock, I used a patterned paper.

Love this little embellishment cluster. I also love how the title tries in with the background paper.

And I did another little cluster at the very top of the layouts with a clip and some labels.

Layout #4 - "RARS Awards"
This layouts ummmm....... is not me favourite at all. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like it.

So I hope you enjoyed looking at my layouts and hopefully I will each week have 3-4 layouts to share until I have catched up. Next week for 12x12 Layout Share Monday I will only have one layout as it was for a challenge.

Photo Technique Sunday - #1 - Up Close and Down Low

Morning all, I do know it is Monday but that is ok because it is Sunday on the other side of the world. lol

But today I am going to share a technique I love and if you look on my mums camera I am sure you will see photos of me down low. One of my favourite photo techniques is getting close to subjects such as: Flowers, Mushrooms, Barbed Wire.

Here are some examples for Up Close -

This is another but different example of Up Close, but for this photo to be different had the lens resting on the tree and looking down.

And this one is a Down Low example as I love getting really Down Low and capturing those little moments through the lens.

 

This is also another example of getting Down Low. And when I mean Low, I am mean low. I was on laying on the ground and I love the result I came out with.

 

 

 

These examples are just a few that I like to document the everyday. Like the Autumn leaves show and tell the thickness on the ground of those beautiful leaves in a beautiful season.

Project Life Share Friday- #1 - Weeks 13, 14 & 15

Good afternoon everyone. I sure most of you are wondering why I didn't post this morning, but I am here now to share 3 weeks of Project Life.

 

Week 13 - 

So the first layout I am going to show you, you may have seen, as it was my layout for my Project Life Junkies Design Team layout for May.

 



For this week of Project Life I added half a Design A page protector and a 6x8 page protector. I also used Amy Tan 6x6 'Rise & Shine' paper pad with a few embellishments.
