Happy Hump Day

Hello everyone, I hope your week is going great.

I have popped in to share how I will be running my blog and how I will end up catching up on the month I didn't post anything.

So here are my plans. I have recently been inspired by the lovely ladies on Mandy Elliott's FaceBook Group - Record Life | Bloggers by making a schedule for blog posts. I think it is a great idea, as I didn't post once in a whole month and I thought this would be great to inspire me and to give myself deadlines for posts.

So here is my weekly schedule blog post. I will hopefully post every afternoon after school.

Monday - 12x12 Layout Share
I will share a 12x12 layout to inspire you all.

Thursday - Technique Thursday
This is the day I share a technique I am enjoying lately or that I have just discovered.
(If you have any ideas for me to try let me know down in the comments.)

Friday - Project Life Layout Share
This is where I will share a week of my Project Life.
(I might do 2 layouts in one blog post to get caught up.)

Sunday -Photo Technique
This is a day I share different photo techniques to document the everyday.
(Again if you have any ideas let me know down in the comments.)

I will be starting tomorrow with Technique Thursday, so keep a eye out on my blog. I probably post tomorrow morning as I am on school holidays.

School Holiday Plans

Morning everyone. I hope you are all enjoying your day.

I am here this morning to share my creative plans for these school holidays.

 

 

So on the weekend I worked out what I wanted to make/do on the holidays, what to catch up on and some things that I have to post here on my blog. With these ideas I wrote them on a post it note so I could stick them on my desk and I would be able to see them easily.

 

Post It Note #1 - Blog

Over the two weeks of holidays I really want to do a massive share of 12x12 layouts I have sitting on my desk. I do plan on doing a video for that as it will be quicker then a massive long blog post. I will work on that idea. Next on my list I have a Project Life layout share, so a update on my 2015 album so far (in which I am currently a month behind on, but I have photos waiting to be picked up today!!). And there may even be a video for that too, but it will properly be really long. Next is a YouTube share of videos that I have done since I announced I had a YouTube channel. I have that blog post sitting here ready to be posted. I will also do a few posts of other little things that I have been creating.

 

Post It Note #2 - Holidays

So this list is of little and big projects I want to get completed and catched up on. One item I want to finish is #MySelfieScrapbook which I have to finish the last few pages of. Next I have a month of Project Life I have to catch up on as I mentioned for the blog posts. I also have to catch up on adding photos to my Heidi Swapp Memory Planner/Album. And the last item is to do lots of Blog posts as my last official blog post was back on the 12th of May, so I have lots of catching up to do there.

 

Post It Note #3 - To Make



This list of very short with only one things on it. On this list I have to make a Photo a Day 4x4 Album of the holiday, as I have a WRMK 4x4 Instagram album sitting there not being used. I not sure yet if I will do this album, but I do have a idea of doing a photo a day as I normally end up with not many photos for my week in Project Life. I will have a blog post about that if I do go through with is 'To Make' item.


So I hope that gives all of my wonderful readers a idea what to you will be able to see from me here on my blog within the next two weeks.

Well hello hello there fellow Junkies. I am so excited to be here sharing my very last post with you all as a Junkie DT member and I would like to give a big thanks to Jane for allowing me to be on this awesome DT to sharing my work as a teen scrapper with awesome like minded people from around the world.

Here is the layout I will be sharing with you all today. 

Lately I have been loving using paper pads as my cards, as you might have seen on my last DT post. This time I used the Amy Tangerine 'Stitched' paper pad. 

I really love how using the paper pads I can customize my filler cards and journaling cards, add cute little embellishments and more.

A big thanks again to everyone on PL Junkies for all the support and a big thanks again to Jane and all the admin for running this awesome big group.

Natalie - Creative Team Member

Hello everyone, I am finally back with a introduction of my second CT member and sister of Melissa. Please welcome Natalie.

I also sent Natalie some quick questions to answer. 

 

1. When did you start crafting? I started when I was about ten, but it was really last year that I’ve become obsessed with it!  

 

2. What is your favourite craft? Definitely Paper crafting. I love doing Project Life, Mini Books, and 8.5 by 11 scrapbook layouts!

 

3. Do you say you have a style of crafting? I would say clean lines, and super modern.

 

4. Why do you document/craft? I document and craft to remember all the fun small and big memories throughout the year. It’s so cool to look back on your albums and see all the amazing things you did! I also do it because I love it. Playing with paper and getting creative is so much fun!

 

5. What are some main products you use? I use Studio Calico kits, Kelly Purkey’s stamps and paper, and Project Life kits.

 

6. What are your favourite craft stores/do you have any nearby you? I don’t have any nearby me now because I’ve moved. I use to have a Michaels five minutes away from my house and I used to go there all the time. For online stores, I use Amazon, Paper Issues, and Studio Calico.

Exciting, Exciting

Here I am to shre the exciting news that I mentioned in my last blog post that may include videos and scrabooking. (My Instagram peeps already know).

I have a YOUTUBE Channel!!!!!
Yes this means I will be doing process videos and layout shares and more.

Here is a little introduction to my channel.

And guess what......? I already have a process video and Layout share up already.

Ok this was my first process video ever. So I ended up changing my camera position for the next video which is a layout share and it made it soooooo much better.

And finialy my third video so far is a layout share of the layouts I did over National Scrapbooking Day weekend.

I will have another video up of a Project Life Process Video later in the week.

PL JUNKIES DT - #3

Hello Hello, I am finially back with another blog post. I will be sharing a far few post over the next  few days, PLUS a exciting thing that may involve a video / scrapbooking. :) So here is my third Junkies post. I cant believe my time as a Junkie DT member is nearly over  with one more post from me. :( --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi their Junkies here to share my Week 12 layout. I used the new Amy Tan 'Rise & Shine' 6x6  paper pad as a base for all of my journaling cards. For this layout I made my own filler card with one of the little cut a parts and paper. I knew this  card needed a little something, I ended up adding more layers to the card to finish the layout. #myselfiescrapbook Share

Afternoon everyone. What have you all been up to??? Today I have cracked out 3 12x12 layouts and 1 of them having a process video on YOUTUBE!!! (I will share those layouts and and my Youtube in another blog post)

Any how, I am here to share #myselfiescrapbook. I have loved this challenge of taking more pics of myself and making my first ever mini book.

Here is the front cover. In this book i do use alot of Maggie Holmes Open Book collection as it is one of my favourite lines.

My inside cover is a piece of asitate with rubons.

This page is'nt my favourite but I am not going to change it as This is how it turned out.

Today I have been working on #myselfiescrapbook adding a few more pages.
