Flip flap

Yesterday I went into the dollar shop and bought a packet of craft bags. They are great for flip flaps on my Project Life layouts. They are a little sorter then a 3x4 card but I still love them.

I made this flap with some sequins and a camera die cut and all I used to attach it to my layout was sticky tape.

So this was my happiness yesterday. I hope you are all having a great weekend.

Week 16 of Project Life

Week 16 I did something a little different. I added another page protector but I cut some of the photo slip things off. So this week I have a flip basically.
Here are some pics.

The page projector I cut.

And with the other part of the page protector I made my first flip flap. Using washi tape.

So now I can make my own flip flaps.

That's all from me now.
I hope everyone is having a EGG-tastic and safe long weekend.

All done.

So I worked out how I was going to sort my PL cards. I did my Kiwi kit by colour and theme. I did my Honey kit just by theme. And this afternoon while at Papertrez getting a round corner punch I got the Teen theme pack which I really like and I have just put them in as they are. I just used white card stock and cut out little pieces of card stock and stapled them on for divides.

Sorting my Project Life Cards

Today I finialy decided that I would sort my PL cards. I have been umming an rring since I got my first Core Kit. The question I have been asking myself this morning is how am I going to sort them. I am going to store them in the plastic tray thingy that comes with the core kits. But just not sure how I am going to sort them. By colour, by jornal, by filler, by title?? I just don't know.

Have a great day everyone.

Yesterday's cutting.

Yesterday me and mum went through all the 12x12 Scrapbooking paper we have and I got started on cutting our 4x6 and 3x4 Project Life cards. I cut about 300 cards yesterday and I still have a lot of 12x12 papers to cut today.

Project Life Card swap

First week of holidays pretty much down all ready :(. One week left.
So this week I decided to join a Project Life card swap group were you make your own PL cards based on the challenge and you send them away and you get different ones back. I made my first months worth in one day. It was really fun.

This is just one of the cards that I made for one of the challenges. The card had to have some stitching. So I spent half a day stitching 6 card board cards.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Creating.

So how is everyone??

Today is the second day of school holidays in Queensland. Last night I sat down and wrote out birthdays and what I am going to make a presents. So I am going to start them this holidays.

But today I was creating basically all day. I am now up to date with my documented life project challenges.
I had some realy fun with week 14.

Here is some pics of my fun day.

Week 14 - your name then embellish it. I had a blast doing this one. This was my first 12x12 mixed media scrapbook page and I love it. It took about 3hrs (I think).

Week 15 - Monochromatic, use one colour with different tones and shades.

Album week's 12 and 13

Today I realised I hadn't posted weeks 11 and 12 of my album. So here they are.

Week 12- we went down to the Gold Coast for a Weekend so that is my week spread.

This weeks challenge was to use something out of a magazine. So I used something out of a Gold Coast tourist Magazine.

Week 13- the week I got to Meet Becky Higgins.
This week was my favourite week.

This week you had to get someone else to draw something and you finish it. My mum drew me the love heart and I finished it by adding colour.

New Core Kit!

So a few weeks ago I got my very first Project Lige Core Kit "Kiwi" and I put another one on layby for my end of school term reward. And today I got it. It is the Honey Core Kit. I love it.

When I got Kiwi I had troubles mixing and matching the cards because I was mainly using the Kaiser Craft cards which are way easier to match. So today when I had a go at mixing and matching the Honey it is was so much easier then the Kiwi kit. I love the Honey kit way more then the Kiwi kit.

Wow. Now I have over 1200 cards and that isn't plus my Kaiser Craft cards. Wow
